If you’re seeking out skin that looks radiantly beautiful and feels refreshed and healthy, chemical peels could be the treatment for you. Here at Rebecca Taylor Aesthetics, your skin clinic in Suffolk, we offer a range of skin peels, with a bespoke approach – as everyone’s skin is different. Whatever you’re looking for, we’re here to help you achieve the results you deserve. Read on for our guide on what to expect from our chemical peels.
1. They can treat multiple problems
Whether it’s renewing your skin’s radiance in a dull or tired complexion, or combating the effects of acne, ageing or hyperpigmentation, there’s something for everyone in our skin peels range. A firm favourite is the Meso-Peel, which is a combination treatment that also includes dermaplaning and microneedling to penetrate deeply into skin.
2. You’ll see fast results
In around a week, the older, dryer skin on your face will have peeled away, and you’ll be able to enjoy the results of your treatment. Some people only experience this ‘downtime’ for around 24 hours. Usually, our recommendation is for 4-6 skin peel sessions to regenerate your skin, both inside and out. On average, results last 2-6 months.
3. Sessions are super-fast
Each session should last around 45 minutes – so if you’re short on time, you can pop in over your lunch hour and still have time for a sandwich. Each skin peel treatment includes a consultation, where we’ll look at your skin in depth with a skin analyser, checking for factors such as hydration, wrinkles and elasticity.
4. There are lots of peels to choose from
Our bespoke approach is what sets us apart from other clinics, but we offer several standard chemical peels, including:
- Phytic peel – one of our lighter options, this works to shrink pores, refresh your natural glow and balance your skin tone, treating breakouts at the same time.
- Retinol peel – with retinol known for its anti-ageing magic, it’s no surprise that our retinol peel is the perfect choice for softening fine lines and wrinkles, while brightening the complexion. As a bonus, it can also help clear up acne.
- Salicylic acid peel – ideal for treating acne, this peel targets bacteria and stabilises cell production while managing inflammation and helping break down oils in the skin.
- TCA peel – we suggest a course of these intensive peels, which help to ‘remodel’ skin, for best results. Recommended for white stretch marks, pigmentation issues, scars, and both lines and wrinkles.
